Emily
Hynek joined Johns, Flaherty & Collin, SC, as an associate in 2009
after clerking at the firm for more than a year.
She
graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison,
Wis., in 2009, and is admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin
and in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Wisconsin.
While
attending law school, she was a member of the law school’s mock
trial team and earned the Susan R. Steingass Outstanding Third Year
Mock Trial Award. She also served as a teaching assistant for a
civil procedure course.
In
addition to her work at Johns, Flaherty & Collins, Hynek worked as
an intern for Dane County Circuit Court Judge Richard Niess and for
the Consumer Law Litigation Clinic at the UW Law School. She holds a
bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin –
Eau Claire and focuses her practice on family and criminal law and
civil litigation.
