Scott Kissinger became an associate at Johns, Flaherty & Collins in 2005. A certified public accountant, he is a member of our business and elder/estate law practice groups and focuses on business, elder law, estate planning, real estate, wills and probate.

While earning his law degree at the William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minn., Scott clerked at Johns, Flaherty & Collins, working with attorneys in a variety of legal areas. He also worked with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services housing unit and with the Hennepin County Criminal Expungement Clinic. He is a member of the La Crosse County, Wisconsin and American Bar Associations.

Prior to attending law school, Scott worked as a financial analyst in the manufacturing/logistics area, an internal auditor in the manufacturing and health insurance sectors and as a director of Medicare compliance in the health insurance industry.

He has a degree in accounting and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a former member of the United States Army Reserve.
