JOSEPH VEENSTRA APPOINTED AS COURT COMMISSIONER
LA CROSSE, Wis. — La Crosse County
Circuit Court Judge Elliott Levine has appointed Joseph Veenstra as
a supplemental court commissioner. Veenstra is an attorney with
Johns, Flaherty & Collins.
As a supplemental court commissioner,
Veenstra will perform limited judicial and quasi-judicial functions
under the direction and authority of the chief judge and circuit
court judges for La Crosse County.
Veenstra has been practicing law for
nine years, focusing on litigation, personal injury, insurance
defense, employment law, and criminal defense.
In addition to his law practice,
Veenstra is actively involved in the community. He serves on the
public policy committee for the Greater Wisconsin Alzheimer’s
Association and is a member of the Local Leadership Council for its
La Crosse office. He is a board member of the Coulee Region Business
Center, Inc., and a graduate of the Greater La Crosse Area Chamber
of Commerce Leadership Program. He is also a volunteer member of the
City of La Crosse Board of Review.
