It would seem with every new form of telecommunications comes a bevy of new ways for fraudsters to try to bilk you. In fact, by the end of last year, the average email user was receiving 16 malicious emails per month, according to Symantec’s Internet Security Threat Report. And a new study from the telecommunications firm FirstOrion reports that by next year, half of all mobile calls will come from scammers.

While scamming techniques are becoming ever more sophisticated, this quiz will help you assess how savvy you are at detecting a scam when it hits your inbox … or mobile phone … or texting service.
