Shim focuses her practice on family law and probate litigation, bringing both strong advocacy and notable compassion to her work with clients. Before joining the firm, she built a broad legal foundation through roles including law clerk for a high-net-worth estate planning firm in the Milwaukee metro area, judicial intern to U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman, intern for the United States Senate, and editor of the Marquette University Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.
Originally from Trempealeau County, Shim returned to the driftless region to serve the community she grew up in — one grounded in the values of hard work and providing a helping hand to neighbors.
